The Robin DR.1050 Ambassadeur is a French four-seat touring aircraft that emerged from Centre Est Aéronautique (later Avions Pierre Robin) in the late 1960s as part of the successful DR.100 family. Built with a distinctive all-metal construction and a characteristic upswept tail, the DR.1050 was designed as a step-up from the smaller DR.100 Ambassadeur, offering improved payload and comfort for European touring pilots.
