Intersting Landing
This is a nice small airport with an interesting final approach and landing due to limited runway length.

In 2016, it was announced that the airport would be renamed Madeira International Airport Cristiano Ronaldo in honour of Madeira native football player Cristiano Ronaldo.

airport located in front the sea. all accomodation, duty free, coffee, taxis stops, parkings lots, cars rental, not far distance from funchal
