The KAI FA-50 Fighting Eagle is South Korea's first indigenous supersonic fighter, a light attack aircraft derived from the T-50 Golden Eagle advanced jet trainer. In the United States, a small number of FA-50s operate in civilian hands under experimental or restricted category certificates, often for adversary support training or private advanced jet operations, explaining the N-registered tails in the dataset.
